Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician, full-time, to provide a wide variety of building maintenance and repair, lawn maintenance, and snow removal work at Homme Youth and Family Programs in Wittenberg, WI. The role is primarily Monday through Friday, hours 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, but may require some occasional evening and weekend hours.
The Maintenance Technician at Homme Youth and Family Programs maintains the physical assets of the properties. Under supervision, performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance functions at apartment buildings, office locations, and LSS program sites. Monitors to assure safe working conditions, performs repairs, documents work completed and makes purchases. Performs other duties as required.

Graduation from high school or GED equivalent preferred. Two (2) years of work experience involving general repairs and maintenance to building and grounds is preferred, to include:
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must have a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to perform the essential duties of the role; a motor vehicle check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record per the LSS Driver Safety Procedure is required, and ability to meet LSS auto insurance requirements.

The incumbent of this position may work in both an office environment and a variety of program sites. Must be willing to work from multiple locations. The incumbent will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
May occasionally be exposed to chemical fumes such as paint and carpet cleaning. Will enter client's dwellings or programs and be exposed to smoke and common household allergens such as dust, mildew and pets.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
TRAVEL: Ability to travel on day trips as required. Some overnight travel may be required.
