The City of Takoma Park Recreation Department is seeking Recreation Program Leaders (multiple positions available) for our childcare programs. This position will assist the program coordinator at the Takoma Park Recreation Center (7315 New Hampshire Ave) or Takoma Park Community Center (7500 Maple Ave) for ages 5-12, under the direction of the Recreation Center Director/Recreation Program Coordinator. Candidates must have the ability to think critically and creatively. Incumbent should be a motivated team player, with good communication skills. The typical work hours vary and can be Monday through Friday, 6:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. and/or 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The starting pay rate for this position is expected to be between $17.16 - $20.22 per hour and will be offered at a rate consistent with the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate.
