Your Opportunity:

As a Production Scheduler or a Sr. Production Scheduler you will build a production schedule that supports the sales and operations planning of Greenheck Group while maximizing labor usage and ensuring a high level of customer service. Production Schedulers will work with manufacturing stakeholders to ensure optimal schedule levels in accordance with plant capacity and key performance indicators. Production Schedulers should demonstrate excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure that production operations run smoothly.

What you'll be doing:

  • Maintain capacity templates and adjust capacity/manpower as demand dictates. Reserves capacity for short lead time programmed orders.
  • Provide support and communication between sales and production facility for schedule changes and cancelations. Assists in identifying trends and suggest capacity adjustments. Reserves capacity for short lead time programmed orders.
  • Coordinate multiple production schedules to support shipping metrics and customer commitments.
  • Communicate production schedule requirements with operations staff, supply chain, and all applicable business functions.
  • Establish schedules in accordance with the overall sales and operations plan.
  • Recognize and suggest changes to daily capacity and opportunities for labor reduction.
  • Implement changes resulting from engineering or customer requests.
  • Assist with inquiries from the sales department pertaining to production status of an order.
  • Support and participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Verify and adjust the schedule in accordance with the availability of critical parts.
  • Communicate late shipments daily to sales and shipping departments.
  • Creates and distributes daily status reports to all necessary business functions.

What you should have:

  • Required 2 Year/ associate degree in supply chain, operations management, business administration or a related field of study.
  • Preferred4 Year/ bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations management, business administration or a related field of study.
  • Required 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Previous SAP or other ERP experience
  • Ability to be flexible/ adaptable as needed
  • BOM experience is preferred

  • Minimal travel is required in this role.
  • Will be an on-site role - Monday through Friday
  • Will work closely with our engineering team
