Social Worker- On-call
Location: DeKalb, IL
Department:ECASP (Emergency Crisis Assessment Services Program)
On-call shifts include:
Weekdays8:00 PM-5:00 AM
Weekends8:00 AM-8:00 PM and 8:00 PM-8:00 AM
The On Call Social Worker reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Social Worker is responsible for providing high quality services to the client and the clients family in order to promote optimal social and emotional functioning. These services include direct service to clients and their families on an outpatient basis. The Social Worker coordinates options and services to meet the patients' needs through collaboration and consultation with physicians and other healthcare personnel. On-call social services are provided primarily to clients in the Emergency Department (Kishwaukee and Valley West), local schools, and client's home (SASS).
