Essential Job Duties | Working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders, the Research Communications Specialist will develop written and multimedia content for the news platform, focusing on the business and enterprise risk management implications of NC State's STEM research. The Research Communications Specialist will also serve as the editor of the Poole Thought Leadership e-newsletter, author Poole Thought Leadership stories on research conducted by Poole faculty, conduct media relations efforts, and collaborate with Poole College faculty experts to elevate the impact of their research. This position reports to the Director of Communications and will work closely with all members of Poole College communications and marketing teams, the Associate Dean for Faculty and Research, and the Director of the Enterprise Risk Management Initiative, as well as the NC State Senior Vice Provost for University Interdisciplinary Programs.
