Job Description
We're seeking a self-motivated professional with technical and analytical skills to join our Finance Systems and Support team as an Associate Financial Analyst. We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills, and interest in understanding accounting systems and business processes.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with automation of financial statements and reports. These reports may include, but are not limited to, income statements, balance sheets, and regulatory reports and filings.
  • Complete Workday finance system maintenance and manage system configuration to address business needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of finance applications, data, and business processes. Assist associates with usage of finance applications and creation of reports and data analysis.
  • Review and monitor financial activity, system interfaces, and reporting to ensure strong financial compliance to external rules and internal controls.
  • Assist in the implementation of new financial systems and system enhancements. Work with internal stakeholders to evaluate and align business processes with best processes.
  • Review data flow between systems. Verify completeness and accuracy of financial transaction processing in accordance with accounting principles and reporting requirements. Implement improvements and troubleshoot data reconciliation issues.
  • Assist with support, maintenance, and enhancement of accounting processes and systems.

What it Takes

  • Effective analytical and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Finance or Accounting Systems.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply fundamental accounting, financial analysis, and financial control principles.
  • Experience with Excel. Experience with Business Objects,and SQL desired.
  • CPA, or ability to sit for CPA exam desirable but not required.
