Primary Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot chemical problems at customer site.
• Identify process or equipment improvement for odor control process.
• Develop odor control equipment program to support customer needs and improve customer process.
• Implement chemical field trials, including equipment installation, for odor control programs.
• Provide sales proposals for equipment.
• Support field activities at that are in alignment with the Business Development group goals and objectives for odor control.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
Secondary Responsibilities:
• Qualify potential new customers for odor control as directed.
• Participate in sales calls and presentations.
• Provide back-up service for odor control sales.
Skills/Qualifications:
• Extensive knowledge of waste water processes required.
• College Degree required in Chemistry, Biology, Waste Water Management or related field.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude for plumbing and electrical installations required.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Physical Requirements:
• Travel expected several days at a time, sometimes on short notice.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to 10 hours in an 8-12 hour workday.
• Ability to drive or ride in an auto 3-6 hours at a time.
• Ability to fly in an airplane to customer locations.
• Ability to lift and carry 25 to 40 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 30 feet in height on occasion.
• Occasional turning, twisting, stooping, bending, and reaching.
Travel requirements for this position are expected to be approximately 80%, both regional and nationwide.
